Keith Pascoe, MA, MPhil. (b1959 Liverpool, England). Violinist, conductor, researcher. Now with RTÉ Vanbrugh Quartet, contracted to the Irish national broadcaster RTÉ (Radio Telefís Éireann). Lives in Ireland. Artist-in-residence to the National University of Ireland, University College, Cork. Assistant lecturer at the Cork School of Music (CIT). Studied violin, piano and conducting at the RCM in London where professional life began in 1981. Formerly founder member and leader of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe; sub-leader London Philharmonic; assistant director Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields; Britten Quartet. Presently interested in Luigi Boccherini and has discovered a lost catalogue of works. Music director of the Cork Symphony Orchestra.
